SAVE - Tom Baker Quartet (2009) PS0902
SAVE is the new record by the Tom Baker Quartet, and is the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed debut album Look What I Found. This new effort finds the quartet in a more groove-oriented space, with tunes by guitarist Baker and bassist Brian Cobb, and a new composition by drummer Greg Campbell. Joined by Jesse Canterbury on clarinet, the group winds its way through a dark and mellow vibe, and brings their unique sensibility to their improvisations as well as the timeless Bill Evans' tune Time Remembered.

Seven Winds - Baker/Moore (2009) PS0901
Seven Winds is the first CD by guitarist Tom Baker and percussionist Dean Moore. This Eno-esque duo record explores the territory between ambient, spatial music and avant-garde sound. Baker plays primarily a fretless electric guitar, while Moore concentrates his energies on resonant metals. The mixiture of Moore's gongs with Baker's electronics creates slow-moving textures that reveal themselves one layer at a time.
